When the AdBlue system faults, many diesels begin a countdown — ‘800 starts remaining’, then 700, 600 — until the engine won’t start at all. We stop that countdown at the ECU before you’re locked out. Mobile across Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and Cheshire.
What the no-start countdown is
To force AdBlue faults to be fixed, manufacturers program a countdown of remaining starts when the SCR system flags a problem. Ignore it and the vehicle eventually won’t start. We address the countdown at the ECU — either by repairing the fault or, for off-road use, removing the system so the countdown can’t return.

It’s an AdBlue/SCR fault countdown. Each start reduces the number until the engine won’t restart. Act before it reaches zero.
Can you stop it if it’s already low?
Usually yes — contact us urgently with your reg and postcode and we’ll prioritise you.
Will it come back?
If we repair the fault it’s resolved at source; an off-road delete means the countdown can’t return. We’ll advise.
Is a delete road-legal?
No — an off-road delete is for off-road use. If you need to stay road-legal we’ll repair the fault instead.
