What a NOx sensor delete does
NOx sensors measure exhaust gas before and after the catalyst. When one fails it triggers AdBlue warnings, SCR efficiency codes and often limp mode — and replacing it frequently isn’t a lasting fix. A NOx sensor delete reprograms the ECU so it no longer relies on the faulty sensor, clearing the fault at source.

One visit at your home or work — no garage, no waiting room.
- We diagnose first. We plug in and confirm exactly which AdBlue/SCR fault you have — NOx sensor, pump, heater, injector or a quality code such as P20EE or P207F.
- We back up & reprogram. Your original ECU file is read and stored, then we apply the calibration so the engine runs correctly without the AdBlue system.
- We clear the codes. Stored faults are cleared, the warnings go out and any no-start countdown or limp mode is removed.
- We road-test & hand back. We confirm the dash is clean and the vehicle drives normally before we leave — usually all done in under an hour.

Why does my NOx sensor keep failing?
NOx sensors run in a harsh, hot exhaust environment and are sensitive to soot and AdBlue quality. Many fail repeatedly — a delete removes the dependency so you stop replacing them.
Will it pass an MOT?
A NOx sensor delete is supplied for off-road, motorsport and export use. The current MOT does not test NOx/SCR operation, but we’ll talk through your options.
Is it the same as an AdBlue delete?
It’s closely related. A NOx delete targets the sensor faults specifically; a full AdBlue delete removes the whole system. We’ll advise which suits your vehicle.
Is it reversible?
Yes — your original ECU file is stored before any changes.
